THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE TO THE REPLACEMENT OF 'INADEQUATE' CONTAINMENT TANKS.

	Conrete bund to protect Ferric Sulphate. Tanks badly deteriorated with bitumen coating blistering and concrete cracking.		All loose material removed and 600gm layer of fibreglass was applied to the interior of the bund and over the rim. The lining was precision moulded to the substrate to provide perfect bonding.

Fibrotec GRP Tank Linings are moulded to the tank 'in situ' with minimum disruption to production. The damaged tank is first grit blasted and primed and then fully lined with fibreglass. The flexibility of the fibreglass allows it to be perfectly moulded to the original form of the tank and its strength allows it to provide a permanent seal for holes, fractures or corrosion. This method removes the problems and cost of having the old tank dismantled and disposed of.

Fibrotec Tank Linings may be applied to Thermoplastic Tanks to reinforce them on the outside to provide any extra strength that may be required in their construction.

	Corrosion in the tank was contaminating the water it contained. Repairs and painting to the exterior quickly deterioated with corrosion an seepage.		The tank interior was grit blasted and primed with polyester resin, a 3mm lining of glassfibre laminate and isopthalic polyester resin was then applied. Work was completed in 5 days.
